BABE RUTH COLLECTION: SHOT IN BERLIN, GERMANY
This launch collection is named after my grandmama, Ruth Daiga. She was from Latvia and after the second world war lived in Germany, giving birth to my father there as a single mother. Two words describe her: strength and perseverance.
Additionally, the collections’ red, white and blue colour selection references the fighting spirit of the American baseball player, Babe Ruth, who is famously known for saying, ‘Never let the fear of striking out get in your way’ and ‘You just can't beat the person who never gives up.’
